Burall InfoSmart are pleased to announce they have been selected to provide 250,000 personalised contactless smartcards to
the London Borough of Hillingdon's citizen card project.
As part of the council's plans to offer local residents access to services at
discounted rates, which are not available to non-residents, they are planning to
introduce a residents' privilege card.
The card – which will be called HillingdonFirst – will offer residents discounted rates on parking in the borough,
access to libraries and the council's waste centres, and offer discounts at council leisure facilities and participating
local shops and stores. All Hillingdon residents aged over 18 years of age will be sent a HillingdonFirst card, starting in summer 2009.
