Burall InfoSmart has a good reputation for quality, service and flexibility in producing customised smart cards. We produce contact and contactless cards and all cards are manufactured to their respective international standards (including ISO 7816, ISO 10536, ISO 14443 and ISO 15693).

Burall are also one of the few companies to be certified to produce ITSO cards for UK transport schemes.
 

Cards are mainly manufactured from sheets of laminated PVC although other materials can be supplied. These are pre-printed by digital, lithographic, or screen methods, in up to 8 colours and the pre-print is fully protected by a laminate. Chips are inserted using an automatic robotic process ensuring consistent high quality. Chips for both contact and contactless are checked pre and post-lamination.

We test to ISO standards and all cards may be personalised using our comprehensive bureau services. Additionally HICO and LOCO magnetic stripes including Watermark® can be applied and encoded, along with signature stripes. For additional security holograms can be added as can other security features.

Most cards we produce are pre-printed and/or personalised with encoding information to our customers’ requirements.
